Job Description:
Become an essential part of our fast-paced supply chain team in our distribution center. We are hiring specifically for warehouse workers in our Value-Added Services (VAS) Department.
Job Responsibilities:
- Remove garments from carton and place on work surface
- Scan carton ID barcode once carton has arrived at the work station and follow computer screen for instructions
- Re-fold garments and place neatly back into carton
- Remove garments from poly bags and discard poly bags
- Review activities performed on garments to ensure they were done correctly
- Place garments on hangers (t-shirts, sweatshirts, shorts, pants, etc)
- Place price tickets on garment hang tags
- Place size strips in specific locations on shirts and/or pants
- Sort garments by styles & sizes
Job Requirements:
- work safely on elevated surfaces (2nd level mezzanine)
- occasionally required to climb, stoop, kneel and/or crouch
- occasionally lift and carry items such as boxes weighing up to fifty (50) pounds
- able to reliably attend work/scheduled hours
- Regularly required to talk, hear; sit, stand and/or walk; use fingers, hands, arms, and feet to feel, handle, grip, grasp, lift,
- operate, push, pull, bend, and/or twist for up to twelve (12) hours/day
- Work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures
Qualification & Experience:
- Required to speak, read, write and comprehend the English language
- Ability to work overtime and weekends as required
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
