Job Description:
This is a rare and exciting opportunity to join an expanding Technology team at Asda and be part of establishing a new SAP Application Team. You will be responsible for the E2E process, system, data and reporting design and solution plus functional testing to ensure we meet the business requirements. You’ll have experience in leading solution design with a real passion for current trends. In your role you’ll be an SAP application specialist, needing to gain an understanding of the Asda systems landscape from a detailed systems perspective for Supply Chain at the lowest level of detail). This is a new and exciting role for someone with experience working collaboratively with stakeholders, colleagues, and strategic partners across a portfolio of projects and be part of the ongoing Asda SAP team.
Job Responsibilities:
As the SAP Senior Solution Designer for Supply Chain, you will be working alongside other SAP Senior Solution Designers, each of you owning the design of your own modules and working together to cover the full E2E SAP scope for Asda. Your team will work closely with the business and lead analysis of requirements to a system-level and ensure a quality system specification is created for the required solution. Through strong stakeholder management and communication skills, you’ll ensure the business requirements are clearly articulated and challenged where required to maintain as close to standard business application capabilities and understood to create a high-level design. You’ll create a technical/functional design in readiness for Developers to build or configure the solution.
Job Requirements:
- Deep SAP skills are desirable, with a particular focus on their specific functional/value chain area, to help ensure the design is robust
- Good understanding of Logistics, Depot Inventory Management, Stock in Transit, Store Inventory Management and reverse logistics and integration with non-SAP systems
Qualification & Experience:
- Experience in Business & Technology Design and Business Transformation in SAP Implementation programmes
- SAP Retail Supply Chain experience
