BA Jobs – Senior Strategy Analyst

Job Description:

As Senior Strategy Analyst, you’ll be expected to support a variety of strategic projects, from initial analysis through to final recommendation. While some projects may involve deep evaluation over a number of months, other requirements may come in at short notice, for example in response to a specific competitor development. In many cases, the team will be partnering with other Directorates, and there will be frequent opportunities to work directly with members of the MC, as well as IAG stakeholders. The role reports to the Head of Strategy.

Job Requirements:

• Ability to work cross functionally, in an open and collegiate manner, with colleagues at many levels of the organisation
• An inquisitive, tenacious approach to problem solving, showing initiative and determination, with an ability to quickly get to grips with new subject matter
• Analytical and numerical, with a good grasp of airline economics (previous modelling experience desirable)
• Passionate and knowledgeable about the aviation industry, with a growing understanding of the markets in which BA operates, its customers and competitors
• Capable of preparing and delivering well-structured, clear, impactful presentations, to audiences up to Director level
