Job Description:
The Consumer Investments Online Conversion Text / Chat Specialist works with prospects who navigate to the Merrill unauthenticated site and would like information about becoming a Merrill client via online text chat messages. Assists prospects with selecting and completing an online account application that best fits their needs through seamless delivery of general investment, retirement, and product information.
Job Responsibilities:
- Providing prospects and existing clients with information about how to transfer cash and/or assets to their account(s)
- Processing pending applications sent to a dedicated inbox
- Assisting prospects with completing and submitting the online new account application
- Educating prospects and existing clients on retirement account rules and rollover options
- Referring prospects and new clients to an Financial Solutions Advisor to assist with additional financial needs
- Providing detailed information about Merrill pricing and products
Job Requirements:
- Ability to multitask
- S7/S66 Licensing
- General knowledge of investments and retirement accounts
- Sales skills
- Ability to work independently
- Strong attention to detail
- Professional writing
Qualification & Experience:
- Prior sales experience
