Barclays Recruitment – Security Programme Manager

Job Description:

As a Barclays Physical Security Programme Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that all Physical Security standards are met, while providing best-in-class physical security protection and support to Barclays’ people, premises and moveable assets. You will also proactively report on the programme’s objectives, targets and progress at regular meetings with senior management and stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities:

• Managing the programme’s budget, monitoring expenditure, costs against delivered and realised benefits as the program progresses
• Maintaining a close working relationship with the project team in order to deliver the aims and objectives of the project
• Identifying and investigating product solutions including procurement, engineering and life cycle service solutions
• Contributing to program planning and project design at concept and implementation stage
• Designing & defining the reporting and control arrangements throughout the project timeline
• Ensuring that project delivery is being managed in accordance with the agreed processes, governance and documentation
• Designing and controlling various programs including briefing instructions to operational managers in a timely fashion and ensuring that best practice is exercised
• Establishing and maintaining effective relationships with contractors

Job Requirements:

• Knowledge of Microsoft office products and data handling programs
• Excellent communication skills
• Knowledge of high-end access control products, CCTV and intruder systems

Qualification & Experience:

• Experience in senior stakeholder engagement to achieve buy in for project funding
• Experience in technical security products and networking environment
• Experience in managing budgets and cost analysis from end or end of project life cycle
• Experience in previous programme management of large-scale project in a large corporate environment
