Job Description:
As a Barclays Asset Servicing Oversight Manager, your role exists to undertake activities related to Security Settlements and Asset Servicing functions. you will be part of the SSAS Retained Operations Oversight Team which is a global team responsible for a number of elements of the strategic partnership between the Bank and our third party provider. Your team provides oversight and governance of the processing tasks performed on a daily basis and manages relationships with key business stakeholders and the vendor to ensure seamless performance.
Job Responsibilities:
- Managing business engagement relationships
- Proactively undertake risk management of our activities
- Working as part of a Team responsible for the full end to end Security Settlements and Asset Servicing process
- Supporting delivery of enhancements to the operating model and infrastructure
- Developing a culture of transparency, integrity and collaboration where all team members are motivated and inspired to deliver
- Supporting the Functional Lead with the day to day management key stakeholders.
Job Requirements:
- Proven track record of being able to leverage strong communication, influencing & relationship management skills to drive change across an Organization
- Broad knowledge of Security Settlements and/or Asset Servicing flows
- Excellent communications both orally and via email, will the ability to analyze data and present in a coherent and understandable manner
- Proven ability to work on multiple task simultaneously managing challenging stakeholders and deadlines
- Proven Knowledge of securities markets including their rules and nuances
Qualification & Experience:
- Excellent experience of working with a third party vendor
- Experienced of working within the Operations function of a top tier investment bank
- Broad experience producing MI & business packs for senior business stakeholders with a high level understanding of the trade lifecycle and functions
