Job Description:
As a Technical Apprentice, you will provide world class hardware advance exchange services for our Cerner client. You will work with our Advance Exchange teams to troubleshoot, repair or replace devices managed under our Cerner Advance Exchange program.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned
- Must reside in the Kansas City metropolitan area
- U.S. work authorization required
- Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
- Ability to work 20 hours per week during school year (in a minimum of three (3) hour increments); ability to work 40 hours per week during summer (May-August)
- Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
Job Requirements:
- Experience or exposure to computer hardware engineering
- Actively pursuing an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of two (2) or more semesters left of degree program prior to graduation
- Enrolled in a minimum of nine (9) credit hours and commitment to enroll a minimum of nine (9) credit hours in the subsequent semester
- Pursing a degree in Computer Hardware Engineering
