Job Description:
As a Registered Nurse on the Workforce Health team, you will provide outstanding professional clinical care to members through everyday nursing care and via phone triage. The Workforce Health nurse provides comprehensive medical services which may include physical examinations, immunizations, blood draws, collection of documentation from previous immunizations, and test interpretation to new and current Cerner associates. Provide general occupational health services to the associates in collaboration with the supervising medical director within the Cerner Healthe Clinics and with the Human Resource Compliance Operations team. Some of your responsibilities will include treating acute, chronic, and complex disease management and promoting wellness and illness prevention through direct member care for all ages as directed by a provider within the scope of licensure; taking member vitals, inputting member symptoms into electronic medical records, collecting laboratory specimens and administer immunization/shots within the scope of licensure; and communicating medical knowledge in lay-person terms to enhance patient education and understanding of acute, chronic and progressive disease processes. You will also prepare equipment, members, and physician for office-based procedures and testing; schedule follow-up appointments, referrals, and diagnostic testing and obtain member records to ensure the continuity of care and follow established policies and procedures to work in a clinic environment involving possible exposure to potentially hazardous materials and situations that require safety precautions and may include use of personnel protective equipment. Job Responsibilities:
- Willing to work on a flexible schedule as needed
- Must currently reside in the Kansas City, MO area
- Able to travel in between Campus locations as determined by business needs
- Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned

Job Requirements:
- Occupational Health Certificate (COHN or COHN-S)
- 1-year direct patient care work experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
- Ergonomic Training – Ceas I or II, or similar education and experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- 4 years total combined related work experience and completed higher education, including:
- Associates degree in Nursing
- 3 years additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job and/or completed higher education, including:
- Licensed Registered Nurse – Missouri
