Job Description:
As an Engagement Controller I, you will manage the project and project teams in terms of the delivery of Cerner client projects. You will be responsible to manage and deliver project management tasks, monitor and report on contractual scope management, and escalate project risks as appropriate. You will maintain and monitor the project plan to ensure project financial health and successful outcomes. Be able to coordinate the support of project client events. Ensuring appropriate resource alignment and build and maintain relationships with internal and external clients.
Job Responsibilities:
- Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
- Must live within 60 miles of a virtually approved city
- Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned
- Must be willing to travel up to 25%
Job Requirements:
- At least 5 years total combined relevant work experience and completed higher education including:
- Receipt of the appropriate government security clearance card applicable for your position
- Due to the client contract you will be assigned, this position requires you to be a U.S. citizen
- At least 1 year of healthcare information technology (HCIT) consulting, HCIT support, project/program management, client relationship management and/or other client-facing or HCIT solution work experience
- At least 4 years additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job and/or completed higher education
