Job Description:
Cerner is looking to hire a Test Automation Engineer for the Registration Management team. As a Test Automation Engineer on the Registration Management team, your primary focus will be to create & execute test cases for development projects within the Registration product. You will work on a development team that follows the Agile software development methodology. You will be working within a team that develops within a large & complex product, requiring you to be detail-oriented and analytical, and occasionally working with limited information. You will work on a wide variety of development projects, with most involving a user interface (UI). You will also work on development projects that are service & database oriented. You will create detailed test strategies that will define the testing on development projects, utilizing a wide range of test cases and testing methodologies to ensure comprehensive coverage. You will develop, maintain and execute the test cases as defined in the test strategies; including automated test cases (utilizing Eggplant) & manual test cases (utilizing RQM). You will develop & maintain automated tests that are part of our CI/CD loop. You will execute test cases in development & certification environments, which will often require configuration & troubleshooting to execute successfully. You will document test execution issues found in our internal tracking systems. You will also assist with the test automation architecture and frameworks utilizing within Registration Management when necessary. You will also perform other tasks as necessary. You must be willing to be part of a team that is fast-paced, collaborative and challenging. You must be motivated & willing to take the initiative to advance the quality of the Registration product.

Job Requirements:
- At least 4 years higher education and/or additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job, including:
- At least 1 year of experience using Eggplant
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related field , or equivalent relevant work experience
- Familiarity with the Agile software development methodology, familiarity with a database, including basic SQL knowledge
- At least 1 year of experience using ROM
