Job Description:

This role reports to the Principal Audit Manager for CDO Americas in the U.S. region – who in turn reports to the Global Chief Auditor for CDO.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Proactively execute day-to-day audit work, including contributing to audit planning, conduct of walkthroughs, documentation of process flows,
  • identification of key risks and key controls; conducting fieldwork testing, documentation, and agreement of exceptions with stakeholders and
  • assisting Lead Auditors as required on assignments
  • Track and validate closure of internal audit findings and regulatory observations
  • Hear from our people and look inside our office:
  • Contribute to the continuous monitoring of the CDO environment as required, periodic update of auditable area risk assessments and contribute to the annual audit planning process as required

Job Requirements:

  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels within Group Audit and with stakeholders
  • A firm commitment to maintaining the highest professional and ethical standards – and the ability to professionally uphold and demonstrate audit methodology, best practices, and Deutsche Bank policies at a level commensurate with the role
  • Flexible, pro-active, self-sufficient with the ability and willingness to work in a high-pressure environment and deliver under tight deadlines
    Relevant experience in an Internal Audit role covering (preferably Operations) or front to back business processes

Qualification & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Accounting, Business & Finance, Data Analytics, or related discipline. Relevant Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CIA, etc.) or preparation for certification is preferred but not required
