Job Description:
As a legal analyst in Deutsche Bank’s Legal Department in New York, NY, you will be responsible for providing legal support to various groups within the Legal Department. You will complete multiple rotations within the Legal Department, depending on the needs of our business and your interests.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist with updating standard forms and templates
- Assist senior counsel in providing legal advice on rules and regulations pertaining to Deutsche Bank’s operations
- Liaise with other internal departments as necessary
- Draft and negotiate documentation with the Bank’s clients and perform related administrative and recordkeeping tasks in
- accordance with the Bank’s policies and procedures
- Actively manage pipeline of transactions or case load in coordination with other members of the legal team
Job Requirements:
- Proactive and motivated with the ability to prioritize work and meet time sensitive deadlines while coordinating and working effectively with clients, business, junior and senior department members, other control functions, and external counsel
- Ability to identify and analyze complex legal issues to conclusions and provide advice, both orally and in writing, and make recommendations to stakeholders on those issues
- An agile mindset, breadth of view, and enthusiasm for taking on a range of matters and issues will be important
Qualification & Experience:
- Ability to identify and effectively escalate potential or emerging legal or regulatory risks
- Law degree and qualified as an attorney in NY
