Job Description:

As a Director, Development you will be at the forefront of this vision by developing and leading product development, commercialization, marketing, and brand awareness of breakthrough offerings to advance our sustainable home vision. Working closely with the business development, sales and strategic initiatives teams, this role will focus on creation and deployment of strategic go to market plans for new market opportunities, including forming relationships with key partners, vendors and clients, and product launches for all innovative new commercial offerings. This role will require a strong understanding of solar, storage, and energy efficiency, and applying this knowledge to identifying and targeting new growth opportunities.

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee product design with a focus on customer feedback and competitor products
• Implement and streamline launch of new offerings
• Translates company financial, commercial, risk management, technical and operating goals into effective contracting strategies and objectives
• Identify partnership opportunities and cultivate relationships with partners
• Delivers contracts that position the internal project execution team for maximum success
• Keep major stakeholders informed and obtain internal alignment
• Delivers on contracting objectives and proforma requirements
• Collaborate cross functionally to build superior offerings and coordinate between departments to achieve successful product launch
• Manages the contracting budget and schedule for assigned projects
• Provides periodic updates to and interact with senior management
• Oversee market research to ensure product-market fit
• Provides overall leadership and drive key decisions during negotiations
• Create product strategy
• Develops and maintains effective relationships with internal stakeholders and external strategic partners
• Assembles and leads internal cross functional, multi-disciplined teams through the solicitation and negotiation processes
• Educate sales team on new offerings
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Qualification & Experience:

• Bachelor’s – Business Administration
• High School Grad/GED
• Experience: 10+ years
• Master’s – Business Administration
