Job Responsibilities:
- Assume role of ESAP (Electrical Senior Authorized Person) for the plant electrical distribution system. Permit to Work (PTW’s) & Pretask Analysis (PTA’s )
- Fill in for process coaches when absent (Vacation, Personal Business, Medical)
- Act as lead for the energy team.
- Support environmental actions and policies.
- Work with DTE on electrical supply issues.
- Use MEARS application to track projects and coordinate with hourly Project Coordinators to determine division of work.
- Act as Salaried Subject Matter Expert (SME) on air compressor operation and maintenance.
- Maintain ARC flash training, personal protective equipment and versatility matrix.
- Champion fire house plant fire protection plan.
- Lead combustion safety at the plant.
- Write all annual purchase orders for Maintenance Center.
- Update internal applications as needed to keep track of daily activity
- Work with Maximo (PM system) planners to ensure all PM’s are completed.
- Support Ford Land on infrastructure updates and company initiatives.
- Prepare outside contracting notifications for Maintenance Center and negotiate with the UAW as needed.
- Maintain all required departmental training.
- Coordinate annual facility project list and budget with Ford Land.
- Track and keep arc flash coordination up to date IAW NFPA70E code.
- Work with area Maintenance and Engineering managers to schedule and coordinate substation switching, maintenance and repair.
- Write emergency PO’s as required.

Qualification & Experience:
- 3 or more years working in an industrial manufacturing environment
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.
