Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic FP&A leader who enjoys operating in an evolving environment where there is significant opportunity for growth. Employees in this role supports Senior Management decision making via financial modeling, including but not limited to, revenue requirement and customer bill impacts, discounted cash flow analysis and financial statement modeling. This position identifies and conducts complex analyses of financial impacts of issues and/or decisions facing the company and proposes strategies to maximize financial performance of company.
Job Responsibilities:
- Performs financial analyses as required by management or regulatory bodies
- Assist with corporate reporting requirements in terms of timely financial submissions and explanations
repares PowerPoint presentations to be provided to Senior and Executive Management - Performs other job-related duties as assigned
- Assist with the implementation of new business arrangements and entities into the forecasting processes
- Identifies, analyzes, and communicates to management the impact on the Company’s financial structure, profitability, financial integrity, and competitive position utilizing relevant analytical methods and/or department’s forecasting models
- Collaborate with accounting team members, underwriters, actuaries and other personnel to update forecast assumptions and review the results for the current and future years
- Provides expertise, support, and financial training for the company departments requiring these services
- Assist with the enhancement of the current procedures into a more streamlined and integrated process
- Provides financial analysis support for various projects, calculating revenue requirements, net present value, customer bill impact, etc.
- In time, will lead presentations of the updated forecasts to the business unit or executive leader
- Participate in the development of enhanced reporting to the leaders of the business unit, and facilitate meaningful discussions on business performance and expectations
- Makes recommendations on financing decisions and executes long and/or short term financings
- Acts as a mentor to lower level employees
Qualification & Experience:
- Bachelor’s – Accounting / Finance
- Master’s – Accounting / Finance
- Experience in the Property & Casualty Insurance Industry is preferred but not required.
- Experience: 6+ years
- High School Grad / GED
