Job Description:
FPLES is looking for an Inside Sales Representative to join our natural gas team in West Palm Beach, FL. Employees in this role are responsible for selling natural gas supply services to commercial and industrial customers in a designated geographic territory through a combination of telephone sales and field sales. Schedules sales calls and meet with current and potential customers to exceed gross margin goals assigned by management on a monthly, quarterly, and/or annual basis.
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensures proper controls and compliance in accordance with corporate policy and procedures
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
- Partners with Manager of Retail Sales and Natural Gas Consultants to develop and implement sales strategies specific to assigned territory
- Generates and presents natural gas sales proposals by providing market analysis and risk management solutions to clients
- Executes the FPL Energy Services Value Proposition and fully leverages consultative sales methodologies and techniques to drive competitive differentiation and deal closure
- Monitors the market and territory and proactively prospect to develop new business opportunities and a strong pipeline
- Drives sales by applying a self-disciplined approach to prospecting and requires an outbound call activity of 80-100 calls per day
- Identifies and generates natural gas leads by cold calling and prospecting potential new customers on a daily basis and documenting complete sales interaction into CRM system
Job Requirements:

- Ability to meet attendance and storm duty requirements
Qualification & Experience:
- Experience:1+ years
- Bachelor’s Degree
- High School Grad / GED
