Job Description:
Understand the customers and business needs to help drive further sales opportunities. Gathering market data and identifying new opportunities for JD Outdoor. Growing the B2B function into a multi million pound opportunity.
Job Responsibilities:
- Sourcing new innovative product via the own label teams
- Creating and delivering targeted campaigns
- Proven track record of seeking out new sales opportunities
- Ensuring stock availability & warehouse logistics / capacity to support sales and campaigns
- Liaise with the Accounts Team to deal with any invoicing or outstanding balance issues
- Liaise with and attend meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties and aid business and organisational development
- Reporting, forecasting and maintaining information in an efficient and timely manner
- Developing & maintaining a network of contacts and building relationships at all levels
- Assisting and advising the group sales team to developing existing accounts
- Proven track record in B2B and tenders for both partnerships and affiliates
- Delivering incremental sales and achieving Sales and Profit targets
- Delighting all customers and ensuring the highest levels of customer service for all sales
Job Requirements:
- Ability to establish and maintain trust and support of management and colleagues
- High attention to detail
- Office 365/Excel Knowledge
- Good knowledge of business process and procedures preferred
- Outstanding communication skills required
- Ability to plan, organise and execute workloads efficiently, whilst working to strict deadlines and budgets
- Proven sales track record and ability to manage a sales team
- Liaising and ability to work collaboratively
Qualification & Experience:
- Experience of pitching for and winning contracts
- Previous experience with B2B and winning new business through tenders is essential in this role.
- Experience of B2B Sales in the retail environment
