Job Description:

We are looking for a Logistics Business Analyst to join the JD Manhattan Centre of Excellence, leading and supporting the design, testing, implementation, and support of Manhattan Active WMS across new and existing JD Group Distribution Centres both nationally and overseas. This is a great opportunity to work with one of the biggest athleisure retailers in the world, at the cutting edge of our Supply Chain and Distribution operations including the latest robotics, automation, and warehouse management systems.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide input to test plan / scenario development and execution support where required
• Support for project / business process changes within JD Logistics programmes / projects including input into business / change readiness as well as software design, development and testing
• Document changes against existing configuration, by way of matrices across multiple environments
• Collection, validation and documentation of business requirements from the business and operations teams
• Travel to sites across the network where required
• As part of a team of Manhattan Configuration Analysts and BAs, own the configuration design and documentation for Manhattan Active across the Group
• Managing own workload including prioritising tasks against a schedule of works
• Deputise for Senior Logistics Business Analyst where required
• Take full ownership of request through to delivery of configuration changes
• Provide Subject Matter Expert implementation support for change deployments
• Perform configuration, build and maintenance for Manhattan Active

Job Requirements:

• JSON and APIs (SQL also desirable)
• Knowledge of multiple WMS solutions
• Good understanding of logistics processes and best practices
• Able to work under extreme pressure and to tight timescales
• Working on major WMS implementations to green field and live sites
• Excellent problem solver
• Ability to engage with 3rd party and internal development teams as well as business stakeholders (Senior Management to Shopfloor)
• Excellent communicator – both written and verbal
• Excellent IT skills (MS Office inc Visio)
• Effective cross-functionally in a changing environment

Qualification & Experience:

• Experience working with large scale Warehouse Automation and Robotics and integration to it from WMS
• Experience working within a Retail organisation
• Previous Manhattan configuration experience, ideally Manhattan Active / Open Systems or other versions
• Experience working within a large-scale automated distribution environment
