Job Description:
As an Operations Trainer working in Airside Operations, you will be responsible for ensuring that our colleagues have the right skills and knowledge to enable Heathrow to deliver a safe, efficient, and compliant operation.
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensuring accurate records of colleague training are maintained, using a range of Heathrow systems.
- Maintaining an understanding of the relevant transport and airfield regulatory requirements.
- Managing key stakeholder relationships including development and maintenance of regular liaison with internal and external customers.
- Leading training audit programmes which ensure that operational and regulatory standards are met.
- Providing effective advice and guidance to line managers related to Operations training.
- Developing and delivering a range of training programmes for colleagues across all levels within Operations including initial & recurrent training, and Winter Training.
Job Requirements:
- Knowledge of Aerodrome regulation, such as that provided by ICAO, EASA and the UK CAA.
- Excellent communication skills – verbal and written with the ability to engage with audiences.
- Current DVLA driving licence.
- Excellent working knowledge of the airside environment and experience working within an Airfield Operations function.
Qualification & Experience:
- Accredited Trainer and Assessor qualifications are desirable.
- Able to demonstrate a commitment to safety, either through formal safety qualifications or through relevant work experience.
