Job Description:
ASDA Technology is going through a significant transformation from a traditional delivery organisation, to a Digital and DevOps based model with a relentless focus on our customer. A fantastic opportunity is available for a Systems Analyst to join our Scrum Teams. You’ll need to have experience working with stakeholders to analyse requirements and design IT solutions to solve business problems, ideally in a mobile environment. In return you’ll get to see the Applications your team design and build being used by Colleagues and Customers.
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure quality and sufficient software and system requirements (User Stories) are ready for development to the developers, at the right time
- Review and assist in troubleshooting production issues to identify system improvements and aid resolution
- Work closely with the Software Architect to understand IT capabilities and limitations
- Work in conjunction with the Business to understand the requirements and appropriate solution
- Work closely with Developers and Testers to ensure thorough and cost effective test coverage to meet quality standards
Job Requirements:
- Ability to perform impact analysis on solution options / change, makes recommendations considering cost and implementation timeframe, assesses and manages appropriate risks
- Facilitate meetings with stakeholders and the ability to articulate complex IT solutions so they are understood
- Advocate for Test-first, Secure by design and Continual service transition ways of working
Qualification & Experience:
- Experience of working in an Agile delivery environment and an awareness of other methodologies (Scrum, Scrumban, Kanban)
