Job Description:

We are looking to recruit an Online Content Coordinator to join our ECommerce team in Marketing. You will own the planning, coordination and delivery of all content and campaign merchandising across the UK & IE Screwfix websites and the App ensuring they are continuously optimised for revenue performance.

Job Responsibilities:

  • To produce all merchandising banners and upload them to the relevant parts of the website within agreed timescales
  • Curate product lists into promotional stories and deliver visual merchandising campaigns built around these while also ensuring stories are in line with the wider campaign creative
  • Coordinate and report on A/B Testing of Merchandising assets to ensure revenue is maximised
  • Use Google analytics and Content square to evaluate performance of content and merchandising across the ecommerce platforms, and to drive decision making that optimises for revenue
  • Own the promotional schedule for the UK & IE Screwfix websites and the App, ensuring the correct promotions and events are visually prioritised
  • To provide feedback to the Web Merchandising Team on the efficacy of campaigns, banners and landing pages on a weekly and ad-hoc basis
  • Working alongside Buying, Commercial Planning, Marketing and Digital Marketing teams to ensure clear communication and a coordinated campaign across all areas
  • To work with the Campaign Planner to manage the prioritisation of design briefs into the Design Team ensuring that briefs are clear and complete
  • To manage all required content changes across all ecommerce platforms to agreed deadlines
  • To provide feedback to Commercial Planning and Buying Teams on the efficacy of promotions and advise of ways to enhance future campaigns
  • Manage the content of the homepages and promotional landing pages, updating frequently to optimise for revenue opportunities

Job Requirements:

  • Able to motivate others and create effective networks of people who can give you what you need
  • Flexible, enthusiastic, and motivated with the ability to work to targets in a deadline driven environment
  • Proven ability to brief and shape online creative for onsite promotions
  • Great attention to detail and a high standard of organisational skills
  • Understanding of website content management
  • Ability to organise and prioritise a large number of tasks and to work calmly under pressure
  • Ability to select products, price points and promotions that will drive sales

Qualification & Experience:

  • Previous experience operating in an ecommerce team
  • Experience in using Web Analytics to drive insight and identify key opportunities for improvement
