Job Description:
Reporting to the Head of IT Business Consulting (Customer & Store), you will be responsible for managing the roadmap and prioritisation of Store Solution initiatives within Lidl UK. The Store Solutions Team Manager will provide delivery management for a portfolio of Store Solution initiatives and related systems as identified as part of Lidl IT Retail Strategy.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop a team of colleagues to deliver solutions to optimise store processes
- Manage the annual performance appraisal and continuously track the progress and targets relating to individual personal development plans
- Occasional national and international travel may be required
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in our National and International Headquarters, as well as UK Distribution Centres and Stores
- Ensure excellent working relationships with all stakeholders
- Ensure the stability and quality of provided solutions
- Innovate and drive change across Lidl GB stores through the implementation of new technology
- Conduct job interviews and the recruitment process for new employees
- Present proposals for action to Senior Management
- Analyse and report on the progress of projects, whilst managing a number of projects simultaneously
- Manage the backlog for both UK and International Store Solutions
Job Requirements:
- Demonstrable experience in medium scale IT projects with strong governance track record of delivering to quality, budget, and timescales
- Excellent Stakeholder Management & Communication with the ability to demonstrate credibility with senior management and good conflict resolution skills
- Rounded experience of IT Service Management including Incident, Change, Problem, Knowledge and Request Management
- Experience in the management of suppliers including both the commercial and contractual relationship
- Strong capability to establish and maintain professional relationships at all levels in the organisation with a focus on delivery
- Ability and proven track record of managing and leading high performing teams to achieve desirable outcomes in a fast-paced environment
- Strong experience of IT Project Management; managing delivery through all stages of the project lifecycle including associated methods and tools
