To meet restaurant goals, the General Manager doesn’t work alone. They lead their team of shift leaders and assistant managers (depending on restaurant volume), delegating specific responsibilities to each one. This means helping the team to set their own goals, following up on their progress, and providing coaching and direction to improve the restaurant.
The General Manager is responsible for running a profitable restaurant and for making sure the restaurant meets McDonald’s critical customer standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. With standards as high as these, the General Manager works with their Area Supervisor to set the restaurant’s goals and creates and executes a plan to achieve those goals. The General Manager is also responsible for hiring and developing both Shift and Assistant Managers to ensure that the restaurant has the right team to lead it into the future.
- You must be 18 years or older to be a manager in our JBK Management owned and operated restaurants.
Qualification & Experience:
Ideal candidates should have previous General Manager experience running high volume locations. A background in quick service restaurants is strongly desired, or experience in hospitality or retail.
