As the business expands, we are pleased to announce an incredibly exciting opportunity to join our Cargo Team in Amsterdam as a Senior Cargo Customer Service Agent.
Job Responsibilities:
- Providing sales and customer service functions in liaison with relevant stakeholders while contributing towards meeting and exceeding the set targets.
- Maintain a close coordination between QR departments, customers and third parties to ensure shipments are transferred, delivered on time and correct priority is given to shipments
- Interacting via email and telephone with freight forwarders, direct shippers and / or consignees, assisting customer queries, providing rate quotations, observing market trends and optimizing the commercial functions related to export booking / forwarding / delivery while setting a high standard of service.
- Create awareness of QR Cargo products and services among existing and potential customers, as well as internal stakeholders.
- Contribute in maximizing revenue through efficient allocations in relation to reservations with Revenue Management.
- Identify needs and improve cargo sales and operational performance for local station.
Job Requirements:
- Working knowledge of cargo processes, products and related regulations
- Proficient in MS Office applications
- Have the current legal right to live and work in the Netherlands
- Dutch speaker with fluency in written and spoken English
Qualification & Experience:
- Minimum of a High School Qualification with at least 3 years of job-related experience, preferably within the aviation or logistics industry
