Job Description:

Senior Systems Engineer will be responsible for the strategic on-going planning, design, and enhancement of QATARENERGY’s infrastructure services like Identity, Messaging in on-prem and Office 365 / Azure environment. The focus will be on providing robust, highly available & responsive, secure, and scalable environment while minimizing Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and maximizing Return on Investment (ROI) by deploying state of the art technologies, best practices, policies, processes, and procedures. As a subject matter expert provide technical consultancy to ICT management and staff while providing 2nd & 3rd level support for engineers and technicians during and after office hours.

Job Requirements:

• Desirable knowledge of industry security practices around file system, identity management, server hardening and vulnerabilities
• Basic knowledge of security and control frameworks, such as ISO27001/2, COBIT, and ITIL, as well as regulations such as Sarbanes Oxley and PCI-DSS.
• Familiar with data center virtualization specifically VMware
• Working knowledge of cloud networking, security, automation tools
• Troubleshooting skills with Active Directory Infrastructure, Azure AD, Group Policies, PowerShell, Windows Server 2012, 2016 and 2019.
• Strong architectural skills and expertise within the data center infrastructure environment including capacity planning, performance analysis, and systems management integration.
• Ability to understand business requirements and then propose IT solutions to meet business objectives.
• Familiar with Project Management and Change Management processes.
• Familiar with networking technologies and security protocols.

Qualification & Experience:

• Strong experience with Azure AD Identity protection, password protection, conditional access, PIM, Azure MFA , Intune MDM, SSO, SAML, ADFS.
• Relevant Industry leading Certifications.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or in a related Engineering field or Management Information Systems.
• Strong experience in Microsoft Active Directory and Azure Active Directory.
• Strong experience with cloud-native architectures, Office 365 services such as Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive and Microsoft Defender.
• Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in a directly related field, including at least 5 years of technical experience in Identity and Access Management and messaging services.
• Extensive knowledge on in messaging services such as Exchange on-prem and Exchange online with hands-on experience on Transport rules, Anti-phishing, Anti-spam, Anti-malware, Safe Attachment & Links and DKIM.
