Job Description:

A Merchant Support Coordinator at Ross is a collaborator. The Merchant Support Coordinator is a support role to the Merchandising organization. The Coordinator is the primary contact to merchants. Coordinator is responsible for communicating with Merchants to ensure the Merchant Support Administrators have the necessary inputs to accurately prepare standardized templates to enable systemic or perform manual order entry. The Coordinator is also responsible for distributing work to Administrators to maximize productivity and quality. The Coordinator oversees the end-to-end routing of purchase order workflow to ensure the work meets the standards and quality per the service level agreement and KPIs of the department, as well as support coverage for MSA organization as needed.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prioritize multiple responsibilities to ensure all deadlines are met and resolve any issues in a timely manner by partnering with appropriate business partners.
  • Demonstrate professional behavior consistent with Ross Stores, Inc. code of conduct at all times and in all forms of communication.
  • As needed, assist with accurately preparing standardized form for approved types of orders/edits to be utilized for the system, manual PO entry and edits for approved types; resolve order entry/edit system exceptions in a timely manner; enter markdowns as needed; perform self QA on all work to ensure accuracy.
  • Responsible for escalating quality and workload balance concerns
  • Follow Ross time and attendance policies and report to work on time as scheduled.
  • Perform intake assessment of all work received and ensure complete information is provided, and source missing information and partner with Merchants as needed.
  • Manage workflow tracking.
  • Evaluate work requests from all Merchants within their Divisional areas, responsible for evaluating and distributing and ensuring workload is balanced and flex as necessary; participate in daily workload discussions and raise up any workload concerns to appropriate business partners
  • Validate exceptions are being assessed and addressed in a timely manner, escalate exceptions, share other identified opportunities for process improvement.

Job Requirements:

  • You have Microsoft Office Suite skills, with an emphasis on Excel and Outlook
  • You have strong organizational skills
  • You must be a team player, exhibiting good communication skills and flexibility

Qualification & Experience:

  • You have a minimum 1 to 2 years related work experience
  • You have a High school diploma (required)
  • You have some completed college coursework
  • You have Office and customer service experience
