Job Description:
A sonographer works alongside several physicians and is employed as a healthcare provider. They work as a medical imaging professional and provide requested images to doctors in order to facilitate their diagnosis and treatment of patients.
A radiographer performs radiological investigations and related procedures under the supervision of Consultant and Specialist in concern specialty using full range of radiation agents, methods, and techniques for effective results. Maintains high-level and professional performance according to SGH (Saudi German Hospital) and JCIA (Joint Commission on Accreditation) standards.
Job Responsibilities:
The position of a sonographer is specialized as it utilizes knowledge of medical terminology as well as specialized imaging technology. Performs Sonography investigations and related procedures under the supervision of Consultant and Specialist in concern specialty using full range of radiation agents, methods, and techniques for effective results. Maintains high-level and professional performance according to SGH (Saudi German Hospital) and JCIA (Joint Commission on Accreditation) standards. Assists the Consultant and Specialist in performing procedures and in the operation of radiological machines. Receives professional and administrative direction from the Consultant and Specialist to ensure adherence to existing Hospital and Department policies. Works independently with minimal professional supervision of concern consultant.
Job Requirements:
- Expertise in good dealing with patients and colleagues.
- With broad knowledge x-ray/radiology theories and practices in a healthcare facility.
Qualification & Experience:
- 2 years minimum as Technician (per specialization) from a reputable organization or healthcare facility. Full experience concerning the roles, laws and different procedures of radiation protection.
- Graduate of Diploma in Radiology or Bachelors Degree in Sonography according to specialty after high school graduation.
