Job Description:
The Marketing Operations Specialist is part of the Staples Business Advantage B2B Marketing Operations team. This person will work closely with our marketing partners to determine the best way to bring their campaigns to life. In addition to executing emails this is person will also use Marketo to manage our lead nurture and trigger programs.
Job Responsibilities:
- Set up data capture forms in Marketo, building back-end logic to code records and write all business rules to flow records to the appropriate teams
- Troubleshoot technical issues as they arise
- Build out email nurture steams and trigger campaigns to increase automation
- Provide campaign reporting and ongoing monitoring when necessary
- Work with business partner to ensure you have all program requirements and recommend logical and efficient solutions to execute their campaigns
- Execute A/B testing as needed; recommend best practices to set up and execute tests
- Campaigns using Marketo as the automation platforms
- Manage our technical vendors/consultants as needed
- Educate partners on marketing automation best practices
- Perform complete end-to-end testing or all projects to ensure flawless execution
- Project manage email campaign execution, including schedule, deliverables, content, data, and reporting
Job Requirements:
- Proven ability to learn new technology applications quickly

- Proven ability to learn new technology applications quickly
- Excellent project management and organizational skills
Qualification & Experience:
- Marketo experience a plus
- 2+ years managing digital marketing-based email campaigns or marketing automation experience
- Experience working with cross functional teams
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
