Job Description:
Todd A. Bowers & Associates, insurance staff counsel for State Farm Insurance companies, is seeking an administrative support team member to join the Seattle, WA office. We are seeking individuals that are comfortable in a high volume, team-oriented work environment where it is critical to stay organized and prioritize work as it is assigned. The position is classified as a hybrid role, meaning that the work arrangement calls for hours in the office and working remotely. Everyone in a hybrid role is required to spend some time in the office. Work arrangements could change over time based on business needs.
Job Responsibilities:
This position will be part of an existing administration team responsible for medical record collection, plaintiff deposition scheduling, new file intake and set-up, scanning and routing incoming mail and delivered documents, reception duties, receiving and transferring incoming calls, and processing invoices.
Job Requirements:
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal with the ability to communicate effectively with peers and both internal and external customers
- Applicants are required to be eligible to lawfully work in the U.S. immediately; employer will not sponsor applicants for U.S. work opportunity.
- Knowledge and familiarity of the legal process, as well as legal and medical terminology
- Accurate and efficient in an electronic environment, including experience in Microsoft Office and Adobe
- Strong customer service skills both in person and over the phone
Qualification & Experience:
- Medical stipulations/authorizations, medical record collection, and deposition scheduling experience
