Job Description:
Reporting to the Senior Manager, TDI Strategy, the Strategy team is responsible for driving strategic direction and supporting initiatives at the ISEC, Senior Executive Team (SET) and Board level. This requires extensive collaboration and coordination across the enterprise with a broad network of Executive stakeholders and partners. The Strategy team is also responsible for delivering operational and strategic reporting, including the monthly Business Results Summary (BRS) and quarterly Report on Operations. In addition, the team supports the development and delivery of leadership communications and conferences.
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure all deliverables required from the group, internally and externally, are met in an efficient and timely manner. Identify opportunities to constantly improve the quality of thinking applied to the business. Conduct research and synthesize large amounts of information to determine potential opportunities for and impacts to the TD Insurance business
- Develop and present senior management level presentations outlining proposals and key milestone updates
- Build and maintain effective relationships with key internal stakeholders and external partners to keep current with key business initiatives and issues and develop an understanding of critical business success factors
- Produce robust reporting packages that provide analysis to enable effective Executive decisions. Identify links between business actions and financial performance. Provide functional / business level communications to ensure messages to stakeholders and/or Executives are consistent, appropriate and aligned to business strategies and direction
- Develop extremely high-quality work in various formats; formulate strategic recommendations for senior leadership and executives
- Utilize a strong understanding of the business requirements and the future direction and vision ensuring that the strategic initiatives meet the needs of the business today and in building for the future
- Participate in the development of the business strategy, objectives, and key results, while promoting a positive employee and partner experience, and ensuring business results overall
- Lead and support the creation of critical strategy deliverables and artifacts including strategy memos and presentations to Enterprise Strategy and Decision Support (ESDS), strategic plans and enterprise priorities submissions, Board of Directors materials, and strategy presentations for the President and CEO of TD Insurance and the Group Head for Wealth & Insurance

- Advanced verbal and written communication skills to interact at all levels of the organization
- Strong conceptual and analytical skills, including the ability to develop and interpret analytical reports
Qualification & Experience:
- Experience in P&C insurance is required along with a minimum of 5 years of experience working in a large organization
- Bachelor’s degree or higher is required
- Experience with Executive management and Board-level presentations and decision-making processes
