Tiffany Internship – Quality Associate

Job Description:

Great opportunity for college students looking for a part-time job with a flexible schedule. If you are available to work between 16 to 20 hours a week during the school year and full-time hours during the summer and pursuing a career in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Jewelry Design, Mechanical Engineering, or Material Science. In that case, this is the job for you! This role will support quality initiatives being led by current quality professionals. The individual will be responsible for the review of in-process products or materials at various stages of production within the facility. The individual will need to be able to apply quality requirements to the inspection and determine if the product meets or exceeds the quality requirements and have the confidence to seek help when needed. The individual will need to be able to communicate with various departments verbally, through email, and through Microsoft teams.

Job Responsibilities:

• Inspection of sub-assemblies
• Inspection of components that will go into sub-assemblies and finished goods
• Inspection will include: measurements, visual inspection, and form/fit verification
• General quality functions

Job Requirements:

The individual will need to have a basic understanding of Microsoft Office products including Teams, excel, and outlook.

Qualification & Experience:

Candidates must be pursuing or a recent college grad from the following: Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Jewelry design, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science. The individual or individuals will need to have experience in the use of hand measurement tools including micrometers and calipers.
