Job Responsibilities:
- Maintains current and accurate records of all relevant communications, audits, corrective action plans, etc. for Quality Department
- Ensures that the Senior Director and Director of Quality are aware of deliverables associated with required program documents and tools, such as the QM Program Evaluations, QM Program Updates, QM work plans, PIPs and other regulator and accreditation requirements
- Specifically, maintains continuity of work operations by documenting and communicating needed actions to Quality department leadership discovering irregularities, determining continuing needs and maintain a finger on the pulse of all Quality department activities
- Assists Senior Director and Director, and other Quality team members with policy and procedure Improvement support as required. Specifically, assisting with research, placing in final format
- Resolve Improvement problems by analyzing information, identifying and communicating solutions
- Maintain the Quality Department dashboard and keep current with all quality activities and initiatives
- Enter data into databases as needed.
- Responsible for achieving a satisfactory working environment between other departments performing Quality functions
- Keeps the Director informed of all Quality department functions, regulatory and accreditation deliverables, committee agenda items, etc.
- Collaborates with and maintain rapport with other departments and with various business segments to ensure regulatory and accreditation requirements are routed to appropriate Quality department owner timely
- Coordinates quality committee meetings including scheduling, preparing meeting packets and recording meeting minutes, i.e. Quality Weekly Team meetings
- Gather information from other departments as directed
- Assists with the coordination of internal and external audit activities
- Requests and compiles data for reports and presentations as directed
- Researches and collects documents required on NCQA accreditation, quality improvement and QI regulations and requirements
Job Requirements:
- Ability to organize work and coordinate meetings
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and organizational skills
- Ability to schedule meetings and maintain a work calendar
- Effectively present information to Senior Director and other leaders and Quality team members
- Speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization
- Solid proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Internet Explorer, Outlook and Visio required. SharePoint and MS Access experience
- Functional knowledge of medical terminology
- Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
- Full COVID-19 vaccination is an essential job function of this role.
Qualification & Experience:
- 2+ years working in fast paced professional setting
- Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) from four-year college or university
