Job Description:

This position is full-time (40 hours per week). Employees are required to work our normal business hours of 8:00am – 5:00pm. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime or weekends. If you are located within Fort Worth, Texas OR Dallas, Texas, you will have the flexibility to telecommute* (work from home) as you take on some tough challenges.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide expertise and customer service support to members, customers, and/or providers
  • Manage overall delivery of benefits and services by providing support and guidance to existing and potential customers to ensure continued membership
  • Identify and resolves operational problems using defined processes, expertise, and judgment
  • Investigate claim and/or customer service issues as identified and communicate resolution to customers

Job Requirements:

  • Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time (Domestic)
  • Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
  • Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish
  • Full COVID-19 vaccination is an essential job function of this role.
  • Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service
  • Communication Skills, both verbal and written
  • Advanced professional writing skills with an emphasis on details and clear, concise, and accurate information

Qualification & Experience:

  • 2+ years of project management experience as an individual contributor
  • High School Diploma / GED (or higher)
  • 2+ years of client account management experience
  • Experience using Skygen systems
  • Bachelor’s Degree (or higher)
  • 1+ year Experience with Dental, Medicaid and CHIP in Texas
  • SharePoint experience (navigating and creating records)
  • 2+ years of Medicaid and CHIP knowledge
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel (create, edit, sort/filter spreadsheets and pivot tables) and Microsoft Word (create, edit, format documents)
