Job Responsibilities:

  • Identify operational gaps that raise risk or demonstrate deficiency- develop project plans to drive remediation
  • Fulfill CAA MHP requests and ensure compliance with federal requirements
  • Prepare Non-Quantitative Treatment Limitation (NQTL) state filings, ensure proper data analysis, audits, factors, and review of national NQTL analysis outcomes are conducted, documented and reportable
  • Additional regulatory change management support as needed
  • Collect and coordinate information and prepare regulatory documentation for submission to regulatory agencies or to internal partners
  • Support implementation of state and federal Mental Health Parity (MHP) regulatory change management, analyze performance and ensure compliance with regulatory standards as well as other key performance metrics
  • Develop communications, drive problem resolution, and facilitate auditing/monitoring processes to help the business address processes that are not meeting compliance requirements
  • Equate federal and state requirements to various operational processes

Job Requirements:

  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize projects
  • Ability to perform complex conceptual analyses
  • Ability to translate highly complex concepts in ways that can be understood by a variety of audiences
  • Intermediate Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe Professional
  • Self-starter who can work independently to meet time sensitive deliverables
  • Excellent communication of complex information via phone and emails to internal customers
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills

Qualification & Experience:

  • Experience responding to inquiries from a variety of stakeholders (external customers, internal customers, executives, and regulators)
  • 2+ years of experience working with Commercial health insurance
  • 2+ years of experience with project management skillset
  • High School Diploma/ GED (or higher) OR 2+ years working in a professional position and/or office/remote environment
  • 2+ years of experience working in regulatory/compliance
  • Experience researching laws and regulations
