Job Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with coworkers across the business to develop solutions to business challenges
- Appropriately reflect pricing methodologies and assumptions within statutory filings
- Develop, maintain, upgrade, run and test models used develop regulatory and statutory filings Lead the Medicare Supplement rate filing team
- Accountable for the performance of Rate Filing Tools and proactively resolve the issues and implement potential changes
- Interpret, adhere to and apply relevant state and federal laws / regs (e.g., STAT, rating)
- Leverage sphere of influence to remove obstacles and resolve problems in order to deliver timely and impactful projects
- Lead by casting a United values – driven leadership shadow to positively influence employee engagement and performance
- Leverage extensive analytical experience to execute departmental goals in rate filing tools that enable our organization to meet or exceed its business objectives
- Prepare required regulatory and statutory filings in required timeline
- Work with and respond to questions from state regulators
Job Requirements:
- Proven ability to communicating complex information to actuarial and non-actuarial audiences
Qualification & Experience:
- 3+ years of Analytical experience to develop and maintain complex model using VBA within Excel and Access
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Experience with SAS/R
