Univision Careers – Account Executive

Job Description:

The Single Market Account Executive develops and manages new business from small and medium sized local clients within a single market, focusing on new clients and selling standard packages across all local platforms including all radio stations, Univision.com, local internet sites and mobile in the single market.

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare weekly reports and attend internal meetings
• Work in partnership with support team on pre-sale processes (e.g., preparing drafts of presentations, proposals)
• Sell entire Multimedia product line (spot radio, promotions, internet and special events)
• Prospect and generate new leads, as well as qualify leads generated by support functions
• Develop new business across all categories and product lines
• Develop client specific presentations, attend client meetings, make presentations and close sales
• Work in partnership with support team on post-sale processes (e.g., entering orders, collections)
• Attend promotional events and other client networking events

Job Requirements:

• Fluent in English/Spanish (read and write)
• Employment/education will be verified
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
• Marketing background
• Must be willing to work from office in McAllen, Texas (currently working remotely during pandemic)
• Previous advertising/media experience

Qualification & Experience:

• Knowledge of Arbitron, Matrix, Concur, Sales Force, Marketron, Media Monitors
• 1-3 years minimum experience in tangible or intangible sales
• Strong written and verbal communications skills
• Must possess a good driving record and a valid driver’s license
• Experience in generating new business
• Client skills including prospecting, conveying value proposition and overcoming objections
• Ability to conduct effective account planning and coordinate different resources to meet customer needs
• Strong analytical and negotiations skills
• Computer skills including Windows 2000/XP, Word and Excel
