Job Description:

The Midrange Console Operator provides second level support for local and remote automation and transportation systems for users on applications, hardware and software.

Job Responsibilities:

• Proactively monitoring of the IT systems in the 24 x 7 Worldport/Airline environments
• Incident resolution, escalation, follow up and logging
• Performing system checks
• Root cause and trending analysis
• Read, understand, and apply complex technical information and processes
• Responsibilities in the Worldport Computer room
  Desktop Support – phone calls, monitoring of IT systems.
• Delivering technical support over the phone in a second level proactive monitoring/resolution environment
• Event management/facilitation
• Performing the beginning of day/end of day environment administration for the Critical Sort Systems

Job Requirements:

• Citrix – Intermediate
• Client Server Architecture – Intermediate
• Windows Operating System – Intermediate
• LAN Administration – Intermediate
• TCP/IP – Intermediate
• VB Script

Qualification & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience preferred.
