Job Description:
The Planning Booth Admin works in an office environment within the hangar working closely with other administrative employees as a team. He/She will also aid and facilitate work assignment processing with union and non-union personnel. Fast paced 24X7 maintenance operations support. Process all aircraft maintenance paperwork at SDF; Audit and control line maintenance paperwork packages; Process log pages and WAN’s into IMPACTS system. Maintain SDF Weekend reports.
Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain spare engine reports.
- Coordinate with mechanics and supervisors to issue and process Engineering Orders, task cards, non-routine cards and other required paperwork.
- Follow up with mechanics and supervisors on paperwork discrepancies.
- Provide a central point of communications between Aircraft Maintenance Control and line maintenance.
- Audit and process task cards and other paperwork.
- Control and account for all work assignments made to line maintenance.
- Input of aircraft log pages into IMPACTS.
Job Requirements:
- Must work well with minimal supervision and be a team-oriented individual.
- Need to be able to work with multiple levels of management and non-management.
- Time management and good organizational skills are needed.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and be able to type quickly and accurately.
- Friendly, with emphasis on internal/external customer service.
- Must possess strong work ethic and good communication skills.
- Must be detail oriented.
- Must be poised and professional when dealing with internal customers.
- Must be dependable and able to work holidays if they fall on your regular work schedule.
- Knowledge of Aircraft Maintenance processes, IMPACTS and aircraft routing are a plus.
- Must have strong written and verbal communication skills and an excellent ability to multi-task in a stressful environment.
