Job Description:

As part of the Platforms and Products domain, the Frameworks Team is responsible for leading the design and development of the foundational components of key enterprise web and mobile applications and supporting services. This work sets the stage for Celestial, the next generation customer support platform that will be used by our support agents, retail store associates and field technicians. As the Sr. Manager for the Frameworks team, you will oversee the engineering team that is building the Celestial platform as well as other core components, services and underlying frameworks that help power the enterprise. You will also have significant input into the future of UI and service frameworks and the establishment of standards and best practices that apply at a large scale. Job Responsibilities:

• Provides guidance to the Software Engineering team and other departments in identifying product and technical requirements. Serves as primary point of contact and liaison between Software Engineering and other teams.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
• Facilitates the implementation and delivery of outstanding user experiences – highly available, responsive, accessible, personalized, engaging and delightful.
• Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
• Provides leadership and direction to department personnel from lower-level managers to non-exempt employees.
• Actively participates in both internal and external development communities, staying up to date on new software technologies and best practices and shares insights with others in the organization.
• Advises implementation initiatives for new software products and applications. Organizes software update process for existing applications and coordinates the roll-out of software releases.
• Manages all the deliverables to ensure adherence to deadlines, specifications and budgets. Implements performance metrics and prepares period reports and/or proposals. Monitors and supervises project progress and reports findings to leadership team.
• Manages cross-project communications.
• Ensures all engineers keep current with technological developments within the industry. Monitors and evaluates competitive applications and products.
• Evangelist for the domain portfolio of platforms, frameworks and products. Collaborates with engineering and business leaders and technical teams to identify where our solutions can provide value.
• Helps champion major technology transformation initiatives.
• Promotes domain mission of providing foundational software components and services that facilitate the creation of the capabilities and experiences that power the enterprise.
• Oversees the planning and designing of software and web applications, including new programs, enhancements and modifications.

Job Requirements:

• Ability to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as vital.
• Regular, consistent and punctual attendance.

Qualification & Experience:

• Relevant Work Experience: 7-10 Years
• Bachelor’s Degree
